Opened in 2013 by husband and wife team Kelvin and Michelle Shaw
the concept behind Altair is simple. To provide a high class and unique
dining experience that incorporates Kelvin's love for the traditional
alongside South East Asian influences. Where Altair differs is in our use
of native Australian ingredients, an area that Chef Kelvin and our whole
team are extremely passionate about.

As we approach our 5th year we have taken time to reflect on how lucky we have been to be able to share the journey with some many wonderful guests
Moving forward we have planned to concentrate even more on the word
Our menu has new sections & an increased number of dishes, we are encouraging you to share with your guests, all dishes have been designed with this concept in mind
The menu will continue to change regularly & we hope you will experience more of Altair's offerings of the season
Be assured if you want to have your own meals, our menu still caters for you & the ability to create food envy still exists
